7 Celebrities That Treated Situations With True Humility

Being famous often comes with the stereotype of being full of yourself and being out of touch with the regular people. It makes you seem unapproachable and someone that takes all the energy and love they’re getting for granted. And if we’re being honest, it does make sense that it would be harder to be impressed by a person smiling at you when millions of people go watch your movies, doesn’t it?

Some celebrities manage to stay down to Earth and keep their feet solidly on the ground though. Let’s take a look at some of them that have managed to reach supreme stardom but are still grateful and humble every step of the way.

Emma Watson

Being one of the big three of the Harry Potter series is bound to keep your every move in the spotlight, but Emma manages to surprise people and maintain a low profile. One of the things she loves doing is leave books around London with handwritten notes in them.

Elton John

Elton John is known for using his influence to get his charity goals out in the open. He’s done many events for an AIDS foundation, for example. There’s no lengths Elton won’t go to when he’s decided that he wants to support a good cause.

Keanu Reeves

“No, you’re breathtaking!” If there was ever a meme that deserved to become a meme, it’d be this. Keanu Reeves is known for showing up at the most random things like gaming conventions or obscure movie promo stuff and he never, ever gives you the idea that he’d rather be somewhere else. I doubt anyone is physically able to even moderately dislike this guy.

Rupert Grint

I guess growing up doing Harry Potter movies turns you into an A+ personality, because Rupert managed to make his dream of driving around an ice cream truck come true. The only difference is that Rupert gives away all his ice cream for free whenever he drives around the local villages.

Dolly Parton

You probably wouldn’t guess this from what you read about her in the media, but Dolly Parton actually has a foundation that sends free books to children all over the US. It’s assumed that about 10% of all children under 5 years of age have at some point received a free book from Dolly Parton herself!

Bill Gates

Bill Gates is infamous at this point for joining Secret Santa competitions on Reddit and absolutely going overboard on the Christmas gifts for some random stranger on the internet. He often spends thousands of dollars (pocket change for him, really) on gifts for that one lucky person and adds a whole bunch of extra stuff into the mix.

Russell Brand

If someone ever told you that Russell Brand looked a bit like a homeless person, they were closer to the mark than they realised. Whenever Russell isn’t physically at home because of his job, he actually opens up his house to the homeless. He’s also often seen spending time with the homeless, talking with them, feeding them and supporting them financially. What a bloke.
