WWE has entertained audiences around the world for decades, and more often than not it has absolutely nothing to do with actual wrestling. It’s stunt-based performing and acting, but that doesn’t make it any less fun to watch. In fact, I’d argue the opposite considering how many people watch WWE and how many people watch actual wrestling. The fighters get actual storylines (which, granted, feels a bit weird) and it’s about more than just the stunt work.
And unlike many other sports, the women’s WWE branch is gaining huge surges of popularity over the last few years. I bet the divas below have nothing to do with that.
Tiffany Stratton
Known as WWE’s Barbie, I don’t think anyone has ever seen a woman with this much make up step inside a wrestling ring. She became a very popular name in a very short time and has had her time to shine on a few occasions, although we’re sure that with how well she’s doing with audiences she’ll get a lot more time in the spotlight in the coming years.
Liv Morgan
Whether it’s about her feud with Rhea Ripley or her the fact that she’s taken over Raw’s center stage pretty easily, Liv is certainly one to look at. Rhea is also back from an injury so expect the feud between these two ladies to get cranked up a notch, meaning we’ll get to see a lot more of them.
Becky Lynch
Despite Becky being on a bit of a hiatus at the moment, she’s had a great year with her capturing the title. She’s had contract issues after losing said title and has decided to step away from the WWE for a while, but since she’s still on the roster page we can just assume this is nothing more than a part of her character arc.
IYO SKY
After having lost her WWE Women’s title we can be very sure that in the upcoming months IYO will do everything she can to win her title back. She’s already tried to get it back multiple times, but her rivalry for the title with Bayley is definitely going to draw in a lot of viewers so don’t expect it to end anytime soon.
Bayley
Bayley came back to Wrestlemania in 2022 and has been very popular ever since then. She’s now one of the top women on SmackDown, and she’ll be sure to stay on the top of the roster for at least a while longer. Her heel work is often considered to be some of the best in the business.
Lola Vice
Despite having only made her debut in 2023, Lola has been rising to the top of the WWE roster with quite the momentum. She hasn’t been able to win anything so far, but has had some very interesting storylines and rivalries that can definitely lead to more screentime and chances at success.
Roxanne Perez
With Roxanne having beaten most of the NXT roster, her storyline seems to have fallen flat a bit while she waits for a new opponent to fight. Maybe soon we’ll see the end of her reign and a new storyline for her character.
