Remember those adorable kids who starred in some of your favorite Disney or Nickelodeon shows in the early 2000s? Hold onto your nostalgia hats because they’ve undergone unpredictable changes that make puberty look like a stroll in the park.
In the blink of an eye, our favorite actors have grown hair and beards and got tattoos all over their bodies, and little ladies, of course, changed even more than that. So, maybe it’s time to dust off those childhood memories and look at the stars from the 2000s one more time!
1. Meaghan Martin (Camp Rock)
Meaghan Martin, who portrayed the ambitious Tess in “Camp Rock,” has continued to thrive in the entertainment world. She’s now juggling acting, voice acting in video games, producing shows, and making music at all times. What a busy bee!
2. Jake Thomas (Lizzie McGuire)
Jake Thomas, the mischievous Matt from “Lizzie McGuire,” has now added photography to his long list of skills. He continued to star in movies and TV shows until he heard the calling of a camera.
3. Nicole Gale Anderson (Jonas)
Nicole Gale Anderson was the tech-savvy Macy Misa from “Jonas.” She seamlessly moved from being a behind-the-scenes genius to a wonderful mom. After getting married in 2019, Nicole got pregnant with baby Charlotte and now has no time for stage shenanigans anymore.
4. Moises Arias (Hannah Montana)
Moises Arias, our deviant Rico Suave from “Hannah Montana,” has also changed quite a lot, as you can see. From his playful role on the Disney Channel, Moises has become a serious actor, starring in huge projects like “Ender’s Game” and “The King of Staten Island.”
5. Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven)
Anneliese van der Pol played the lovable Chelsea Daniels from “That’s So Raven.” After the show ended, she appeared in dozens of productions, including the 2017 “Raven’s Home,” the sequel to “That’s So Raven.” Live is cyclical.
Clayton Snyder, once the heartthrob Ethan Craft from “Lizzie McGuire,” has since dropped the stereotypical high-school hunk and turned into a charming adult. Clayton continues to leave fans swooning with his charisma, even though the movies he stars in are now for everyone.
7. Jennifer Stone (Wizards of Waverly Place)
Jennifer Stone played Harper Finkle in “Wizards of Waverly Place.” She went from a magical sidekick to a real-life advocate, raising awareness for mental health. Jennifer has become an inspiring voice, adding depth to her already impressive resume.
8. Johnny Pacar (Now You See It)
Johnny Pacar, the mysterious Danny Sinclair from “Now You See It…,” has worked his own magic spells that allow him to stay relevant in the showbiz world. The life of an actor is just too good to let it go to waste.
9. Steven Anthony Lawrence (Even Stevens)
Steven Anthony Lawrence, fondly remembered as Beans from “Even Stevens,” has outgrown his iconic goofiness. He’s now trying on all kinds of serious roles to prove to everyone that his range is much more than the lovable, quirky character he once portrayed.
10. Leah Pipes (Pixel Perfect)
Leah Pipes, who we all know and love as Samantha from “Pixel Perfect,” has moved beyond the cute, virtual world of Disney straight into the deep, cold waters of Hollywood. She also got married in 2014 but then divorced the guy in 2019.
