Back in 2010, Jaqi Clements delivered her twins much earlier than expected. But despite the early delivery, both babies were completely healthy. Twin girls Ava Marie and Leah Rose Clements have grown up a bit since then and have become quite the dynamic duo in the entertainment and fashion world. Read on to learn more about these twins, who were named the most beautiful in the world, and where they are now.
When Ava Marie and Leah Rose were born on July 7, 2010, they were four and a half weeks early. “They came four and a half weeks early but knowing their personalities now it makes total sense that they would show up early, unannounced, and ready to take on anything,” their mother Jaqi said. And since they came on to the scene at birth, people have been admiring them for their striking features and beauty. Their family and even strangers noticed how symmetrical their face structure was, and how beautiful their skin and hair was.
As they grew in age, many people began to encourage Jaqi to help the twins pursue a modeling career. After some time to deliberate on it, Jaqi finally decided to start up the girl’s modeling career. Once the girls turned 6 months old, Jaqi found a modeling agency in Los Angeles and they were signed. But it ended up being too hectic of a schedule for Jaqi to keep up with, since she was taking care of her 2 year old son as well. She ended up having to take a step back from their modeling pursuits.
The family decided to try a normal life for a while, and let the twins be around their peers. They tried to decide what would be the best age for the girls to get back into modeling, and when it would be a good age to consider what the twins wanted for their own lives. As they grew up, they began to take a liking to swimming and dance classes.
On the day of their 7th birthday, Jaqi decided to present the idea of modeling to the girls. “I presented my idea to the girls that, if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try,” Jaqi said.
The girls were beyond excited to start their modeling careers, and were natural talents already. They enjoyed performing for their friends and neighbors, although their mother said she couldn’t figure out where they got this natural ability from.
Jaqi took things slow and began getting the girls ready for their career herself. I dug out my 10-year-old Nikon camera from a bin in the garage, put a few waves in the girl’s hair, dabbed on a little blush, and out we went to take some pictures,” said Jaqi.
Once it was time for her to find the girls an agent, she had no trouble at all. “To my surprise, I heard back from almost every single one asking to set up a time to meet the girls,” Jaqi said.
Now the girls have an Instagram account called @clementstwins, and it already has over 2 million followers. The secret to the success of the page is one thing Jaqi gave the dish on. “One thing I know for sure is it’s all about the pictures, so don’t settle for an average photographer because you want to save a few dollars,” she said. The girls continue to do amazing things in their modeling career, with the sky as the limit for how far their passion for modeling will take them.
