These stars are mega-popular and get paid in millions. They act like innocent angels on TV, and millions idolize them, but in real life, they are just as capricious, arrogant, and spoiled as the worst of us.
Here are some of the most controversial celebs of our time.
1. Angelina Jolie
In Hollywood, Jolie is called “the b*tch with an angel’s face,” and she was diagnosed with “sociopathy” as a child. Angelina did not allow her husband to play the guitar at home, sold a photo of her newborn daughter for millions of dollars, and leaked stuff about her dad to the press. Why is Angelina Jolie often disliked by the public? First, Jolie used to be a drug addict, and one time came to the interview drunk and kissed her own brother. Now she is a mother of many children who shows her “perfect” life on camera. Oh, and secondly, the actress stole her husband from Jennifer Aniston. Women are ruthless!
2. Jennifer Lopez
JLo’s colleagues from the film industry do not like her very much. They say that Jennifer forgot what it’s like to be a modest and decent person and instead behaves like a diva. The producers complain that Lopez is always surrounded by a team of stylists, make-up artists, and masseurs, and this cohort of at least 60 people would need to be paid from the filming budget. That’s why you don’t see her on screen very often. And then there’s the public opinion, which often criticizes Lopez for excessive attention to herself and narcissistic tendencies.
3. Megan Fox
Many call Megan Fox the “Hollywood Madonna” because of her complex nature and intense opinions, not to mention her love for flaming people on set. For example, during the filming of “Transformers,” director Michael Bay asked her to put on some weight and spray a bit of tan, and instead of discussing this, she just called him Hitler. There was also this time when Fox publicly insulted Robert Pattinson and Zach Efron, calling them too pretty and unable to hold a conversation.
4. Gwyneth Paltrow
This cute-looking actress is apparently very annoying to work with. Her former colleagues complain that Gwyneth has an extreme superiority complex, treats people like garbage, and calls everyone names. She is not afraid to throw some dirt on her co-workers during interviews. She’s also bad with money, but that’s a very minor insult to the rest of the injuries.
5. Katherine Heigl
Colleagues often complain that the actress loves to comment on other people’s work and criticize it. Nobody’s safe, starting with assistant directors and ending with filming partners. Heigl is said to be very rude and erratic when she goes on a rant. That is why it is increasingly difficult to find a partner for her since the actors would flat out decline the roles when they find out that they will have to work with Katherine on the same set. One time, the Grey’s Anatomy director could not stand her behavior any longer and fired Heigl in the middle of the day.
6. Julia Roberts
Jules prefers not to talk with other actors on the set, and she can not get along with female actresses at all. She claims it’s difficult to find common ground with the directors, and then she’s forced to compromise. And her raiders are incredibly wild. During the filming of “Hook,” where she played a fairy, Roberts was given the nickname “a fairy from hell” because she would turn the set into hell with her whims. Steven Spielberg almost completely cut out her role from the finished film because of her behavior.
7. Teri Hatcher
This actress does not run her mouth about her colleagues. However, as it turns out, other actresses still hate her. Teri’s Desperate Housewives co-stars Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Vanessa Williams, and Marcia Cross wrote sweet postcards for the filming crew but completely left out Hatcher’s name. The creator of the series, Mark Cherry, called Teri “the meanest woman in the world.” But we still have no idea how this controversy came to be.
8. Kanye West
Kanye is easy to love but even easier to hate. If you’ve ever been on the Internet, you probably saw billions of memes with this guy. Some call him a fraud; others think he’s a rap god. The truth, as usual, is somewhere in the middle. Kanye is often chastised for his rash and often offensive opinions, although it seems like he’s become less controversial and much more boring after becoming a family man. Fatherhood will do that to you.
9. Miley Cyrus
You know exactly why Miley Cyrus is on this list. To say that she’s caused some controversy is to say nothing. Ever since she’s radically changed her image to that of a teenage rebel punk girl, the world could not comprehend how it happened and why. Stars like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan have been through all these changes and are now doing fine. But not Miley. Cyrus doesn’t seem to care about other people’s opinions, which for some reason, really aggravates the public. One thing is certain: nobody expected Hannah Montana to turn into a punk queen!
