Everyone’s had a celebrity crush at some point in their life. Usually reality sinks in sooner or later and you realize that they’d never be interested in you and the image you get from them is purely based on the media and not really something you want to build a relationship on. We move on, find someone else in life and think back on our celebrity crush thinking “that was stupid”.
For some people, it totally worked out though. They met their celebrity crush, fell in love, got married and lived that Disney-approved fairy tale. Let’s take a look at some of those lucky bastards.
Liza Powell
Liza met Conan O’Brien when she was part of the audience at one of his talk show recordings. Apparently, they locked eyes and immediately fell for one another, and they’ve been married for almost 20 years now.
Angela Jones
Imagine being an event planner at a Wizarding World of Harry Potter event, meeting Matthew Lewis and falling madly in love with each other. I mean, the guy did play a pivotal role in helping Harry Potter defeat Voldemort. What’s not to love?
Priscilla Presley
At a time when every woman in the world wanted to be the big Elvis’ wife, Priscilla lucked out. She was a fan of his music, although not as extreme as some other fans, and they were together for a good 14 years – six of which they were married. They eventually got a divorce, but they separated on good terms.
Marjorie Harvey
Marjorie coming late to a comedy show is probably going to end up being the most defining moment of her life. As she entered the room, Steve stopped and stared, only to continue by apologizing to the crowd and loudly proclaiming that he was going to marry that woman. Well, he wasn’t wrong.
Maureen Cox
It’s hard to imagine that at the peak Beatles era, some fans actually fancied Ringo Starr the most. Anyway, Maureen Cox did. After she asked him for an autograph, they sort of hit it off and got married. That’s pretty much all there was to it. I mean, it’s not like she was competing for John Lennon here.
Danielle Deleasa
Danielle met Kevin Jonas when on vacation at the Bahamas (like everyone does, right?). She wasn’t the one that chased after Kevin (I mean, he’s the Ringo Starr of the Jonas Brothers) but eventually Kevin was able to win her over, and they’re now happily married.
Jeff Richmond
Jeff had landed a gig as a pianist at an improve theater where people would audition all the time. One day, Tina Fey walked in and he thought she was one of the very best. They’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since and still happily married.
