There’s a certain type of celebrity out there where you’re positively and absolutely sure that even Photoshop couldn’t make them look better. This is usually because most people go completely overboard when retouching pictures, which just makes the result looks incredibly fake. Kind of like what you’d expect with Instagram influencers.
Instagram page Goddess.Women kind of mixes both of those very extreme worlds. Instead of trying to make celebrities look better, this page will retouch pictures of gorgeous celebrities and makes them adhere to the “beauty” standards that we are bombarded with because of modern influencers. Let’s take a look. It gets pretty haunting.
Kate Winslet
Well you have to admit Kate, despite already being one of the most gorgeous women on Earth, wouldn’t look half bad when adapted to influencer standards. Still prefer the original, though.
Anne Hathaway
Honestly, this pic would make people doubt whether she was Catwoman or the Joker.
Cameron Diaz
Sadly adhering to influencer standards took away Cameron’s signature smile. This is definitely not an improvement.
Kristen Stewart
Well that just looks nothing like her, doesn’t it? I’d hardly call it an improvement too, she lost all her personality.
Rihanna
Even Palpatine can’t handle how ironic it is that one of the most influential artists of her generation still can’t pull off the so-called beauty standards of Instagram.
Catherine Zeta Jones
Well there’s not too much difference here, CZJ always has been a fan of walking outside the house with a boatload of make-up on her face.
Angelina Jolie
No more classic 90’s Angelina sleepy eyes? C’mon, that’s just a damn shame. She always looked like she hadn’t slept in weeks, and it was part of her charm – the not caring about her looks too much.
Mila Kunis
Mila really doesn’t need airbrushing or Photoshop to look amazing.
Brooke Shields
One of the most gorgeous women of her generation, turned into just another influencer.
Jennifer Aniston
That tacky lipstick really isn’t doing anyone any favors, Jennifer least of all. She looks so cartoony.
Margot Robbie
Well, if even Margot can’t reach Instagram Influencer standards without heavy make-up and airbrushing, maybe we need to stop lying to ourselves as a society.
Miley Cyrus
I’m not sure what the deal is with Instagram influencers and artificially making their lips look bigger, but it’s clearly not a look one should wish on Miley Cyrus.
Monica Bellucci
The point is becoming quite obvious that using airbrushes to equalize skin and take away facial imperfections makes everyone look same-ish, right?
Jennifer Lawrence
Well, I think it can only be a good thing how utterly weird it is to see Jennifer Lawrence so heavily airbrushed.
Julia Roberts
Turns out all you have to do to take every unique feature of Julia Roberts’ face away, is airbrush her the way an influencer would.
