Frozen pizza brand Chicago Town just launched a new Pizza Wedding Package where they offer couples a chance to win a Chicago honeymoon and a pizza wedding cake.
I have to say that the multi-level pizza cake is not the most bizarre thing here. The main attraction is a wedding dress that is kinda based on the iconic gown Rihanna wore to the 2018 Met Gala but with a cheesy twist. The dress is modeled like any other traditional wedding dress, with a train and all, except for one detail – it has a pepperoni pizza print on it (I wonder if there is a vegetarian option available). The edges of the dress are a thick crust. Amazing!
And it wouldn’t be a wedding without a bouquet and a wedding cake, right? Chicago Town took care of it too. They paired the dress with a pizza-themed bouquet and the newlyweds get to cut into a multi-level wedding cake. Add to it a honeymoon trip to Chicago and £500 you can spend on whatever you like, and you got yourself a wedding that is bound to go down in history!
You must be wondering what a loony tune would be interested in such a strange offer. It turns out there are more people out there who are obsessed with pizza than you think. Before launching the campaign, the Chicago Town pizza brand did the research. They polled 2,000 Brits and the results are quite impressive.
More of a third of the respondents think that the food served at the event is even more important than the ceremony itself. Most don’t even care about the dress the bride is gonna wear or the color of a tie on the groom – all they want is food.
The research also revealed that 64% of respondents admitted they wouldn’t mind biting on the slice of pizza at the wedding. So, as you can see, the pizza has always been and I bet will always be in high demand at any event. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of weddings but I think the wedding that serves pizza is the best wedding ever.
