Meet Finley, the 6 year old golden retriever who absolutely loves tennis balls. He loves them so much he can stuff 6 of them into his mouth all at once. He’s a good boy who’s just enjoying his life to the max. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Many dogs love playing fetch, and lots of them love playing with tennis balls. There’s just something about those tennis balls that makes them irresistible to dogs. If you’ve ever played with a dog you’ll know they go absolutely crazy for them. But there’s simple excitement for a tennis ball, and then there’s an obsession. We’re pretty sure that the dog we’re about to tell you about is obsessed.
Meet Finley, the 6 year old golden retriever who absolutely loves tennis balls. He loves them so much he can stuff 6 of them into his mouth all at once. Why would he do that? We don’t know but to each their own, don’t kink shame Finley. He’s a good boy who’s just enjoying his life to the max. There’s nothing wrong with that.
His owners started noticing that he loved tennis balls ever since he was a puppy, first he could only pick up one at a time, but then he taught himself to do 2 at a time. But his talent started showing when he was 2 years old. Back then he only managed 4 tennis balls at a time but that was still pretty impressive. He would stuff his face with tennis balls like a massive hamster and be overjoyed when he succeeded.
Now at the age of 6 he can proudly stuff his adorable little face with 6 tennis balls, which is apparently a record. He hasn’t gotten his name in the Guiness book of records just yet, but we’re pretty sure it’s gonna happen soon. Because apparently the previous recorded amount of tennis balls a dog could pick up is 5. So Finley is ahead by one at this point. We didn’t even know these kids of records existed, but now that we do, we can’t help but cheer for Finley and excitedly await for the official recognition of his talents.
But we do wonder if perhaps Finley is far from his limit. He seems like a fun loving but hard working dog and he’s only 6. Who knows perhaps by the time that he turns 7 he will be able to pick up 7 balls? Only time will tell.
