It’s fun to imagine our favourite Disney Princesses in all kinds of settings – that’s why artists do it all the time! We’ve seen Disney girls change gender and experience romance in modern day cities, but Dave Salamanca Rojas went even further and imagined Disney Princesses during quarantine. They would also have to wear masks, right? Of course, their masks would look totally different from anything we have here in the real world. Here’s what Disney Princesses would look like doing social distancing.
Dave Salamanca specializes in drawing all kinds of Disney characters and Disney-themed pictures. He loves to put our favourite princes and princesses in real life settings, imagining what they would do in the real world. Ariel from The Little Mermaid would probably follow the rules and rock an underwater-themed mask made of seashells and seaweed. It would fit her Princess look perfectly, matching the whole outfit.
Dave’s drawing style is very classy and looks exactly like Disney! He publishes most of his art at his Instagram account. Here we have Belle from Beauty and the Beast and she looks exactly like the original! She chose to use Chip, the little cup from the enchanted mansion, as her mask. Is it a wise choice? We really don’t know, but that’s definitely better than using books.
Jasmine from Aladdin definitely knows a thing or two about staying safe and healthy with style. Her mask is cool, it matches her jewellery, and it has a magical Genie inside just in case! This might very well be the coolest mask on the list.
Dave has his own line of products, offering a bunch of Disney-themed goodness to all Disney fans out there. It seems that Princess Aurora is taking the whole stay-at-home thing very seriously. Her face mask offers ultimate protection from any damage, covering her whole head.
If there was a contest, Snow White would definitely take the price for the Cutest Disney Princess Mask Ever. It looks super sweet and goes well with her animal-loving character.
Don’t you just love Cinderella’s style? It’s hard to rock a princess outfit, wear a mask, and still look gorgeous at the same time. She obviously came up with the best solution because we can still see her beautiful smile behind the face mask!
