Do you ever find yourself watching a movie and thinking “I wish Rob Schneider would do something in this”? Yeah, no one does. I’m pretty sure most people actually actively avoid Rob Schneider movies. He’s the Adam Sandler for people that like Adam Sandler.
Anyway, apparently Rob Schneider does in fact have this thing where he cameos in movies. And, to pretty much everyone’s surprise, not all of them are horrible. Some actually even make the movie better! I’m not sure whether that says something about the cameo or the movie, but I’ll let you decide for yourselves. Let’s have a look at some already-legendary-but-not-quite Rob Schneider cameos.
DRex from “Littleman” (2006)
From the guys that gave you White Chicks: the worst movie ever made by the guys that gave you White Chicks! A Metacritic score of 26, no way in hell this movie couldn’t get better with a Rob Schneider cameo.
San Francisco Hobo from “Around the World in 80 Days” (2004)
Jackie Chan and Rob Schneider in a single movie, that’s got to mean two things: kung fu and cheap jokes. Can’t believe this gem didn’t win all the Oscars.
Salim the Taxi Driver from “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” (2008)
Arguably one of the best movies that Adam Sandler did since the Y2K bug killed his career, this one has Rob cameo as a taxi driver. Because why not?
Erwin from “Demolition Man” (1993)
Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Rob Schneider had a cameo in a Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes action movie. I was surprised too – but then I realized the movie had a 34 score on Metacritic.
