Even though Captain America appeared in nine MCU movies, it looks like we won’t see him in Phase Four. But it doesn’t mean he will be forgotten. Steve Rogers has always been one of the most powerful superheroes in MCU. The most noble and brave leader. This is why we would like to take a look back at some of the best Captain American moments of all time.
Lifting Thor’s hammer
That time when Thanos had nearly killed Thor, Cap proved that he was worthy to lift the hammer. In fact, he even seemed completely capable of using it to its full capacity. When he simultaneously used his shield AND the hammer, he proved to be the most powerful Avenger.
Being able to hold back Thanos
When Thanos killed Loki and Heimdall and kicked Thor and Hulk’s butts, it seemed like there is no hero who can fight him. But Cap managed to briefly hold him back. For just a mere moment, even Thanos was surprised by Cap’s strength.
Captain America fighting Captain America
I’m pretty sure no other superhero can brag about fighting themselves. While traveling back to 2012, Cap runs into a younger version of himself. A younger Cap thought it was Loki in disguise and started to fight. But, since old Cap managed to learn a few new tricks over the years, he easily beats his younger self.
Captain America vs Iron Man
When Iron Man finds out that Winter Soldier is the one to blame for his parents’ death, it’s only logical he wanted revenge. And of course, Cap won’t allow this to happen. As a result, there was a messy fight with lots of blood, and Cap once again proved that no-one is a match for him when he’s fighting for his friends.
Taking on a quinjet
After escaping the trap in the elevator, Cap takes off on his motorcycle, but S.H.I.E.L.D. decides to block his way with a quinjet. And just like that, Cap single-handedly took the aircraft down.
Fight in elevator
That famous elevator scene where Cap single-handedly takes out a room full of mercs. Because no one messes with Captain America.
Siege on the hijacked freighter
First he jumps from a plane without a parachute, than he sneaks on board of the hijacked freighter and kicks everybody’s ass. This was definitely one of the best action scenes in MCU.
Fighting Winter Soldier
When Hydra was getting ready to slaughter millions of people, Cap was forced to fight brainwashed Bucky aka Winter Soldier. He got beaten with Bucky’s bionic arm, took multiple bullets, and yet, Cap did everything to save Bucky’s life.
Hammer vs Shield
We know that Iron Man and Thor couldn’t stand each other’s guts at first. When they had a fight, Cap tried to calm them down. When Thor brought his hammer down on Cap, he took the blow on the shield. Quite impressive, huh?
When Cap holded the helicopter
When it comes to saving his friends, Cap can mobilize incredible strength. Just like in this iconic scene when Cap grabs on a helicopter with Bucky in it.
