Rebel Wilson’s character Amy has added a nice twist to this chick flick comedy. Most of the funniest moments in the mobie have involved Wilson which actually shows that she is not scared to take a hit and is aware of her looks.
Isn’t it Romantic (2019)
Rebel Wilson has finally got a lead role! While romantic comedy is something she is good at, here she is actually in a role of the character who hates romance. The film was well received by the audience and is considered to be one of the better examples of rom-com genre.
How to Be Single (2016)
It’s a great role for Rebel Wilson as she could be her true-self. She is introduced as a total opposite of the main character and she totally kills each of her scenes. While Rebel’s character Robin is a bit of a sidekick, we would love to see more of her. Overall, Wilson manages to make the film more lively and true to its genre.
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014)
Rebel plays a role of a night security guard at the British Museum. While filming she had a great opportunity to meet other great film stars like Ben Stiller, Ricky Gervais, Owen Wilson and Robin Williams. Even though Rebel was invited for a cameo she has filmed several scenes which the director loved so much that she has become a part of the full cast. A strong female comedian has brightened up the male cast.
The Hustle (2019)
Even though this film was not a massive success, Rebel has played her best along with high rank Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway. In opposite to British exquisite manipulator, Rebel plays a spontaneous desperado. She is not afraid of confrontation and acts ruthless in panic situations. It does have a bit of Ocean’s feel about it but we still can appreciate this great duo.
