The author of the Twilight series actually said he was the perfect Edward and Henry was actually supposed to get the part, but as filming schedules changed and the production was pushed back he eventually grew out of the role and again it was Robert Pattinson who got it. 6. Henry Cavill and 50 Shades Of Grey

Cavill never actually auditioned for the role or had anything to do with that franchise, but his fans wanted him to be in that movie so hard and were so vocal that eventually, the rumor started circulating the media that he would play Christian Grey. It never happened obviously, but Henry has a good sense of humor and he did joke on Twitter that he’s playing the role in the sequel.
